Additional fee of $45 per person applies for ages 13 years & older sharing a room for triple and quad occupancy in the Main Lodge Rooms and Cabins. (Children 12 years and younger, no extra charge.)
Additional charge in Guest Houses applies based on maximum occupancy.
A minimum of two nights is required if your stay includes a Saturday.
A minimum of three nights is required if your stay falls over President’s Day weekend or the week including
Christmas and New Years Eve.
15% RESORT FEE and 9% VERMONT STATE SALES TAX will be added to your bill and charged at the time of arrival. The Resort Fee, among other uses, provides you and your guest(s) access to our stay inclusive amenities.*
CHECK-IN TIME begins at 3PM for the Lodge & Cabins and 4PM for the Guest Houses.

Maximum occupancy applies at all times and will be strictly enforced. Violations to maximum occupancy may result in the termination of your stay. Large gatherings are prohibited in our Guest Houses unless organized and facilitated by the Mountain Top Inn & Resort.
To confirm and secure a reservation, The Mountain Top Inn & Resort requires a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total stay for two-nights or longer, non-package reservations. One night stays and package reservations will be charged 100% of deposit.
Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking the cancelled room due to our remote location, thus The Mountain Top Inn & Resort has the following 30 day cancellation policy. Any cancellations or changes that occur within 30 days of arrival will be subject to forfeiture of the deposit. All refunds outside of the 30 days are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total stay. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed departure date, you will be responsible for your entire stay as originally booked.

Our Cabins and a selection of our Guest Houses are available as dog friendly. Dogs are welcome at an additional charge and must be registered at the time of your reservation. Please view our complete policy – Mountain Top Pet Policy and Registration. This policy must be acknowledged and registered with the resort prior to arrival. Any guest bringing a pet into non-pet-friendly accommodations are in violation of their rental agreement and will be charged a minimum of $250 per night, per pet. Guests may be moved to pet friendly accommodations if available. Refunds will not be offered in the event of a shortened stay, or if the new accommodations are not comparable to the original reservation.
Dog Walkers are available with 3 days advance notice and will exercise your dog at a rate of $12 per walk.
*Stay Inclusive Amenities: These amenities include wifi (where accessible), use of our fitness center, hot tub, sauna and trail system year-round. Other activities are seasonally dictated. Our winter stay inclusive activities are cross country ski & snowshoe trail passes, sleds and sledding hill use (sleds included), ice skating rink access. Summer stay inclusive activities are our outdoor heated swimming pool, private beach, disc golf (includes discs), kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, tennis & pickleball court (BYO racquet or borrow ours), sand volleyball court and lawn games. In the main Lodge, upon request, a coffee maker and/or microwave can be delivered to your room. All Lodge rooms are outfit with mini -fridge, telephone, alarm clock, iron & ironing board, toiletries and hair dryer.
