Snowshoeing
Whether you’ve been doing it for years, or are stepping out for the first time, snowshoeing is a wonderful way to explore the woods and meadows, take in the views, enjoy the fresh mountain air – and get that cardio going! A great family activity, you can even bring Fido along. A selection of our trails are dog friendly*.
Our teams at the Activities Center will provide you with a trail map (or, visit our trail conditions page for a digital map) so that you can explore as many trails as you like.
Our 60km of snowshoeing trails are generally open December through March (weather permitting). Our trails are open to the public. Passes and rentals are available at the Activities Center.
Trail passes are complimentary for our overnight guests (see rates for equipment rentals). Contact the front desk the night before if you would like to order a picnic lunch to take along on your adventure. When you return from our outing, stop by the tavern for a hot cocoa or s’mores by the fire pit. Or soak your muscles in the Barn’s Hot Tub – you’ve earned it!
Trail passes are required for snowshoeing on trails. *Skis or snowshoes are required for humans accompanying dogs on our pet-friendly trails.
