Fees & Policies

Rates are subject to change without notice.

Rates are Per Room, Per Day for single or double occupancy.

Additional fee of $45 per person applies for ages 13 years & older sharing a room for triple and quad occupancy in the Main Lodge Rooms and Cabins. (Children 12 years and younger, no extra charge.)
Additional charge in Guest Houses applies based on maximum occupancy.

A minimum of two nights is required if your stay includes a Saturday.
A minimum of three nights is required if your stay includes President’s Day weekend.

15% RESORT FEE and 9% VERMONT STATE SALES TAX will be added to your bill and charged at the time of arrival. The Resort Fee provides you and your guest(s) access to our stay inclusive amenities.*

CHECK-IN TIME begins at 3PM for the Lodge & Cabins and 4PM for the Guest Houses.
CHECK OUT is 11AM.

Maximum occupancy applies at all times.  Large gatherings are prohibited in our Guest Houses unless organized and facilitated by the Mountain Top Inn & Resort.

DEPOSITS

To confirm and secure a reservation, The Mountain Top Inn & Resort requires a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total stay for two-nights or longer, non-package reservations. One night stays and package reservations will be charged 100% of deposit.

CANCELLATIONS – Please read this important information

Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last-minute cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking the cancelled room due to our remote location, thus The Mountain Top Inn & Resort has the following 30 day cancellation policy. Any cancellations or changes that occur within 30 days of arrival will be subject to forfeiture of the deposit. All refunds outside of the 30 days are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total stay. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed departure date, you will be responsible for your entire stay as originally booked.

PET POLICY & FEES

Our Cabins and a selection of our Guest Houses are available as pet friendly.  Pets are welcome at an additional charge and must be registered at the time of your reservation.  Please view our complete pet policy – Mountain Top Pet Policy and Registration. This policy must be acknowledged and registered with the resort prior to arrival.

Pet Walkers are available with 3 days advance notice and will exercise your pet at a rate of $12 per walk.

*Stay Inclusive Amenities:These amenities include morning coffee service, afternoon refreshments in the Main Lodge Lobby, use of our fitness center, hot tub, sauna and trail system year-round.  Other activities are seasonally dictated.  Our winter stay inclusive activities are cross country ski & snowshoe trail passes, sleds and sledding hill use, ice skating rink access. Summer stay inclusive activities are our outdoor heated swimming pool, private beach, disc golf, kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, tennis court, sand volleyball court and lawn games.  All equipment rentals are additional.  Rates are subject to change at any time.  For rental and non-stay inclusive activity prices, please click here.
