Vermont’s Finest Brew Trail: Mountain Top Resort’s Draft Brews
Being a craft beer enthusiast means trying something new as often as possible. It’s true – it’s not just about the beer; the atmosphere you’re surrounded in can make a difference. Mountain Top Resort offers not only 12 carefully selected craft brews on tap but also a range of luxurious accommodations and amenities, not to mention the breathtaking scenery at every angle. With two rotating taps, you’ll always find something new and exciting during your stay.
The brews on tap represent some of the finest breweries in Vermont, and they serve as a great starting point for your beer exploration. Let’s divine into some of the nearby breweries that have crafted the beers you can enjoy at our resort!
Starting in Stowe, Vermont, Von Trapp Brewery ranks as the state’s largest. We proudly offer their classic Von Trapp Pilsner, a Czech-style pilsner with a spicy-citrus taste that demands you to take another sip. Inspired by the lagers made in Austria, the Von Trapp Brewery produces a variety of delicious lagers that are worth the drive to experience.
Long Trail Brewing Company in Bridgewater Corners, Vermont, is another gem worth exploring. They are renowned for their iconic Long Trail Ale, an amber ale that has not only become a staple here at the resort but also all over the state. Since its establishment in 1989, Long Trail Brewing has remained steadfast in the Vermont brewing community, allowing thousands of people to stop by and enjoy stunning views of the Ottauquechee River.
If you find yourself traveling through Brandon, Foley Brothers Brewing is another must-stop destination. We are delighted to feature their Independence Day IPA, a New England-style IPA as one of our rotating taps for the warmer months. However, do not let the name fool you, this is an approachable IPA for anyone because of its smoother, less-bitter profile compared to the classic New England-style draft. Be sure to schedule a tasting at Foley Brothers Brewing to fully experience their exceptional craft brews.
When planning your beer odyssey, these are just a few examples of breweries to keep in mind for your trip to our resort. As Vermont’s craft beer scene continues to grow, we hope to expand our beers so you will have a perfect launchpad to embark on your beer journey within the area. As you explore the breweries, you’ll not only enjoy the outstanding beers but also be able to soak in the breathtaking landscapes and charming towns that made Vermont, and these breweries such a special place!
