Our private
chalet homes are the perfect choice for couples, families, small groups
and family reunions. The rates are very affordable and we
offer discounts for stays of 5 nights or more**. Depending on the
season and the size of the home rates start as low as
$350 per night for a two bedroom home.
**Note that this special is not applicable to reservations booked prior
to August 1, 2008.
Chalet rates include breakfast,
afternoon refreshments and use of the Resort's facilities:
Spring/Summer/Fall -
private beach, kayaks, canoes, lake activities, outdoor pool, tennis
court, and lawn games.
Winter - 60km of Nordic ski and snowshoe trails, sledding hill, and ice
skating rink.
Fully equipped and ideal for weekend getaways and long term
stays. All chalet units are non-smoking. Pets are allowed
in select units only. Basic housekeeping is provided for the
chalet, which includes daily fresh towels and trash removal.
Additional housekeeping services can be arranged in advance by calling
the Front Desk.
Rates are subject to change without notice and do not include tax and
resort fee. Check-in time for Chalet Homes is 4PM.

***Rates
are subject to change without notice.
• Rates are per chalet home, per day for the maximum occupancy
listed and include breakfast. The Resort has established a
maximum occupancy per unit and reserves the right to charge an
additional $45 per person, per day (plus tax and resort fee) for
a guest count in excess of the maximum occupancy.
• Weekends require a two night stay and some holiday periods
require a 3 night minimum.
• At departure, a 15% Resort Fee and a 9%
Vermont state sales tax will be added to
your bill. The Resort Fee allows you and
your guest(s) to enjoy our Vermont country breakfast, morning
coffee service, afternoon refreshments, and a variety of
onsite activities for each day of your stay. Onsite
activities vary with the season and may include: trail
passes, sledding hill, ice skating rink, private beach,
kayaks, canoes, tennis court, lawn games, and hiking trails.
All equipment rentals are additional.
• Daily housekeeping - fresh towels and trash removal.
Additional housekeeping may be arranged in advance for a fee by calling the Front
Desk.
• Check-in time begins at 4PM for the
Chalet Homes. As a courtesy to arriving
guests we must adhere to a check out time
of 11AM.
Deposits
To confirm a reservation The Mountain Top Inn & Resort
requires a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total stay for
non-package reservations at time of booking. Package
reservations will be charged 100% of the package rate as the
deposit.
Cancellations
Because of our small size, cancellations affect us
significantly. A last-minute cancellation gives us little
chance of booking the cancelled room due to our remote
location, thus The Mountain Top Inn & Resort has the
following 30 day cancellation policy. Any cancellations or
changes that occur within 30 days of arrival will be
subject to forfeit of the 50% deposit for non-package
reservations and the entire deposit for packages. All
refunds outside of the 30 days are subject to a
cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total stay.
Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed departure date, you will be responsible for your entire stay as originally booked.
Rates
are per unit, per day for the maximum occupancy specified. There is an
additional fee of $45 per person beyond the maximum occupancy noted for
the unit. Rates are subject to change without notice.
